Trekking
If you like taking walks through nature then Hotel Vagia is the ideal place to start your excursions. Right next to Hotel there is a trail leading you through the picturesque landscapes of Vagia and up to the beautiful chapel of Prophet Ilias. By following the same trail you ll be able to reach the ancient temple of Aphaia . For the more experienced walkers you can walk up to towards the forest of Agious or towards the hill of Palaia Chora, where you have amazing panoramic views. Or you can climb the highest mountain on Aegina, Mount Oros (532 m). On Aegina island you can find lots of nice tracks. A walk to the Eleones, a beautiful area with olive trees that are thousands of years old (2000-3000 years) is highly recommended. Recently “Hermes” used it for one of its fashion picture shootings. For the lovers of underwater life Vagia Hotel can make arrangements for scuba-diving excursions around Aegina, to disserted Islands and shipwrecks!
Cycling
Bicycles can be rented from our hotel! From then on you can cycle t o secret beaches and to trails among the pine trees!
